Eyelash Extensions are an exciting way to enhance the eye because they extend the length of your natural lashes and create fullness. Silk, Synthetic or Genuine Mink lashes are individually applied with a medical-grade adhesive to your natural lash. The result is longer, fuller, lush-looking lashes.

Depending on the type of lash set you choose they can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours. We take our time because we are making sure the extensions are properly applied and there is no damage. Re-lash appointments are usually 1 to 1.5 hours.

When correctly applied, eyelash extensions do not have an adverse effect on your natural lashes. If the diameter (or thickness) of the extension is too thick damage can occur.

Occhi Motto

Our motto at Occhi’ is, “We never compromise the integrity of your own lash, our goal is to improve your lash cycles and not inhibit natural growth.” We never use heavy lashes or too much glue as a way of giving you volume because that ultimately results in an allergic reaction or damage to the natural lashes. We often recommend supplements and products to maintain the health of your lashes.

Eyelash extensions are applied to your natural lash about 1-2mm away from your skin. At no point should the adhesive ever touch the skin.

Eyelash growth cycles between 25 to 45 days. Some clients will need a Relash sooner than others, because everyone’s lash cycle is unique to them. Depending on the eyelash extensions set, relashes are every 2 to 4 weeks. If you wait too long for a relash, you may need a new set of eyelash extensions due to outgrowth.

You can wear makeup. Due to the presence of oil-based ingredients, some makeup products can cause premature fallout. Oils will break down the adhesive and your extensions will fall out prematurely.

If you wear eyeliner, avoid gels in pots and pencils. They contain oil and wax that can break down the adhesive. We recommend you use a powder or liquid liner. Make sure you are using an oil-free makeup remover.

There is no need to wear mascara on your eyelash extensions. You can still wear mascara on your lower lashes, however, you shouldn’t use waterproof mascara.
